It must be time for the Wyoming sheep and wool festival in Thermopolis. You better get your best stock dog and head towards Thermopolis July 12-14th. No dog? Just plan to take in all of the free events! On this episode I’ll be joined by Carrie Bennett of the Mountain States Stock Dog Association, Heather Jones with the host committee for the Wyoming Sheep and Wool Festival and LaDonna Miller who is volunteering to help with her first stock dog trial, bringing the sheep and is planning to run her dogs in the competition. Don’t be sheepish take a listen…

After we get the flock out of the studio…. I’ll visit with Brandon Yule, he and his wife Shae own  Blair’s Supermarket. He’ll help us get educated about the grocery business and why small towns are struggling to keep stores open. He will also on record, answer my question " Why are your grocery prices so HIGH?"

WDA looks forward to bringing you Hometown Matters each week and we appreciate you stopping by. Find Hometown Matters on your favorite podcast platform. Visit Washakie Development.com or check us out on Facebook.
