Pumpkin Drops on Octoberfest

Octoberfest happens October 4th, at the Washakie County Fairgrounds. Kids activities, beer, cabbage burgers, a pumpkin tasting contest, crowning of the royalty, live entertainment, dog races and much more. You’ll hear Worland/Ten Sleep Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Caryn Paxton share all the details.

Jay Richard also stopped by to share the latest information on the Wyoming State Pumpkin Weigh-Off Championship in conjunction with Octoberfest. You’ll hear about his 1600 pound pumpkin and learn how you can compete or just stop by to watch a huge pumpkin be dropped from 200 feet in the air!
